Why is Business So
Darn Hard?
There’s only one reason business is
hard. It’s because there are no systems and processes developed and
used to make it easy.
Systems and processes provide the steps that show what to do every
day to reach a desired result.
Remember back when you first learned penmanship as a young child.
First you learned how to scribble on paper with crayons. The colors
amazed you and it was a lot of fun to scribble as a young child.
Then you went to school and learned printing. You learned UPPER CASE
printing and lower case printing. Eventually, you learned how to
turn the letters into words.
Next was the cursed
cursive script where you
learned the now dying art of penmanship.
There was a definite system and process in place to teach you how to
form words and write.
Your business needs a system and
process too.
For every task you undertake in business, a system and process
should be developed to follow.
When you take the time to develop a
strategy and put a system and process in place to accomplish it, the
task is much easier to accomplish.
Without systems and processes business is hard because you are
“inventing” a way to get things done every time you do them.
Earning money in a business is a great
example.
You need to earn money to stay in business. You may worry about it
and hope it happens through some passive means.
It does not. You panic. That panic makes the situation gets worse
because it blocks your creative thinking flow. You don’t know what
to do next.
Compare that to a business owner who
follows a system and process to earn money in their business.
First they have an exact way to “attract” clients they want to work
with. They do this consistently as part of a daily routine.
They are able to convert that attraction into revenue on a
consistent basis because they are engaging potential clients daily.
Finally they continue to assist their new client by understanding
the challenges that client faces on a regular basis. Once
understood, they offer to help solve those challenges.
They also inquire as to who the
client may know that wants to reap the same benefits.
A system and process has been used to
create money in a business.
No matter what you want to accomplish in business or life, a system
and process will get you there quicker and on a consistent basis.
Good luck and good communicating.
