Discover What You Love to Do
There is a shortcut to happiness in business
and life. It’s easy to accomplish but at times can seem very
difficult.
That shortcut is simply, discover what you
love to do and then do it with passion and purpose.
When you do, you will find:
You are excited about the start of every
day.
You have plenty of time to spend in
marketing. You’ll be passionate about spreading the word so
that you can attract as many people as possible to your
offering.
There is no longer anxiety or a feeling of “I
hate this” when it comes to sales.
You want others to share in your
happiness and take advantage of the unique value you alone
can offer.
Imagine loving what you do so much you
passionately offer more and greater values to your clients
all the time. You also provide your clients with a way to
share your value with people they know consistently.
If you are stuck now here’s how to turn the
tide.
First assemble the tools.
You will need a journal to record your
thoughts, inspiration, instructions, ideas, and rants.
You will also need an open and nonjudgmental
imagination and the desire to use the personal genius that
lies dormant inside of you right now.
Start by allowing your imagination to flow.
Ask the question; “What is it I
want out of life?”
Then sit quietly and wait for your answer.
Write down every idea, every inspiration, and every thought
that comes into your mind.
Noted author Joe Vitale suggests if you don’t
know what you want in life, ask what you do not
want. Write that down. The opposite will be what you want.
After you have your destination in life
thoughts recorded on paper, the next question to ask is,
“What is it I truly love to do?”
Again, sit quietly and wait for your answer.
Write down every idea, every inspiration, and every thought
that comes into your mind.
Many experts suggest writing down at least
100 ideas. I’ve found this helpful because it forces you to
delve into the deepest recesses of your mind. Sure, it's a
pain to do, but so is living a life that is unfulfilling.
After you have created your list, take a
hard, honest look at it.
What is that one thing on your list that
makes you think, “WOW, if I could
do that for a living, my life would be unbelievable?”
Here’s the funny thing; you already know what
it is.
Your passion and true desires have been
suppressed for so long that they are now in the deepest
recesses of your consciousness.
Complete
these exercises and you'll have your desires out in the open.
You have admitted your reason for living and the singular
passion that drives you.
Now discover the greatest value you can
create in the lives of other people using your passion.
This is where your talent comes in. The
question to ask is, “What is the
greatest value I can create, using my talent and
passion, that enhances the lives of other people?”
Be sure to record all thoughts in your
journal.
That’s it. You have connected three vital
points. They are:
1. What do you want out of life?
2. What is your greatest passion?
3. How can you use that passion to add value
to the lives of other people?
The most difficult thing is sitting down and
exploring the depths of your your consciousness. We are ALL
so busy that we often forget the most important thing; the
purpose of life is to be happy.
Author Mark Hamilton, in his Neo-Tech books,
suggests human beings are most happy when they are
creating values that enhance the lives of other people.
One way we play as human beings is by
offering created values through a business that enhances the
lives of people around us or all over the world.
What will you do with this information today? As a subscriber to this list, you
have a distinct advantage over everyone else in business.
Take advantage of it
now.
