Progress Not Perfection in
2008
There is a secret to business success that is so easy to
understand and so profound in its effectiveness, a large
number of people seem to find it next to impossible to
grasp.
The simplicity of this business mystery makes brilliant
people say, “It’s too simple, that can’t be it.” However,
its value is proven everyday in businesses worldwide.
That simple secret is don’t get it perfect, get it done.
Perfection leads to unaccomplished dreams, lack of money and
extreme frustration. It keeps even the strongest people
wishing and hoping instead of doing and receiving the fruits
of their labor.
People who suffer from the perfection malady
may exhibit some or all of the following traits.
They are constantly frustrated by how long it takes to get
important tasks done.
Good ideas are discussed and evaluated but never acted on.
Projects are started but never finished.
Complaining of never having enough time in the day to
accomplish everything is commonly heard.
On the other hand, people who simply get things done find
that completed projects add new revenues to their business
coffers throughout the year.
Market feedback allows new projects to be whipped into a
saleable form quickly.
Money earned from getting important projects done, even if
small at first, can be reinvested into more elaborate
marketing, which leads to even greater sales increases.
Happiness and satisfaction are normal for
people who get things done.
People who are not harnessed by perfection are seldom
frustrated. They are moving forward consistently and feel
good about their accomplishments every day.
My wish for each of my subscribers in 2008 is that if you
are a perfectionist, you’ll put it aside, in favor of
getting projects done.
I wish that each of you will listen to your inner voice of
intuition and follow the direction you feel is right for you
to build extreme success in 2008.
And finally, I wish that you’ll make sales you’re ultimate
focus in the New Year. That you’ll make every day a sales
success day and watch your business grow and revenues soar.
All it takes is a winning
sales process that is accomplished consistently,
everyday to see your business grow as little as 25% and as
much as 300% or more.
Success is a simple formula.
The most successful people merely do what it takes to get
the most important things done consistently.
As one of my favorite authors, Seth Godin says, it may not
be hard, but it can be difficult.

courage and determination to live life on your own terms.
