Conscious or
Unconscious
Why did you start your small
business? It was probably to break out of routine rut of a J O B.
Now that you are free of a job, how do you go about your day? Are you on
auto pilot, doing the same routine day in and day out, whether it
works or not?
If you do, you are stuck in a rut and you need to break free. The
trouble is, you don’t know how. You may be stuck really deep in past
habits and life-long conditioning.
The good news is there’s a way to break out
of any rut and start growing
new directions.
First, you have realize that you’re stuck. This is called being
conscious.
Many people never admit that they are in a rut. As a result they
stay there. This is called being unconscious.
When you live in a conscious state of mind, you are able to
identify problems easily. It’s like you can see the future based on
your observations of all that surrounds you today.
Once you see the solutions and opportunities that are all around
you, you are able to take realistic and focused action to use them
for personal and professional achievement.
One example is the trend toward being in a service based business
that helps people get things done in their busy lives.
While there has always been a trend toward service, today,
businesses that communicate this message as part of their
winning sales process
have a definite advantage.
This is a conscious effort to spot a trend and use it to a
profitable advantage.
Companies that miss this, of
course, are kidding themselves by assuming a potential client
knows what they offer.
This kind of unconscious business thinking is responsible for
the demise of many potentially great businesses.
The same can be said for your talents
and passions in life and business.
The conscious approach is to:
The unconscious
approach would be to keep going through the same routine; offering
the same thing you always have and expect a different result.
Once you are taking the conscious approach, you can easily
fill your sales pipeline with
great new potential clients.
The reason is you’ll
have the unique frame work in place to attract the people you can
offer the greatest value to, successfully.
Good luck and good communicating.
